Travelling by train
The destination station for long-distance trains is Berlin ‘Hauptbahnhof’. From the main station, take the S-Bahn S5, S7 or S75 (direction Alexanderplatz / Ostbahnhof) one stop to ‘Bahnhof Friedrichstraße’.

Travelling by plane (Berlin-Brandenburg BER airport)
Take the S-Bahn S9 from BER Airport Terminal 1-2 to ‘Friedrichstraße’ station.
Take the regional express train RE7 (direction Dessau, Hauptbahnhof) or the regional train RB14 (direction Nauen) from BER Airport Terminal 1-2 to ‘Friedrichstraße’ station.
Take the Airport Express FEX from BER Airport Terminal 1-2 to ‘Ostkreuz’ station, from there take the S-Bahn S3, S5, S7 or S75 (direction Hauptbahnhof/Westkreuz) to ‘Friedrichstraße’ station.

Travelling by train – Frankfurt/Main main station
The destination station for long-distance trains is ‘Frankfurt/Main Hauptbahnhof’. From there it is only 5 minutes:
In the main hall opposite platform 13 go down into the subway Passage am Hauptbahnhof, keep left there and leave the passage via staircase Düsseldorfer Straße No. 2-24 / Karlstraße.
Follow Karlstraße to the right. Continue to the corner of Karlstraße/Mainzer Landstraße.
Travelling by plane – Rhein Main Airport
There are two railway stations at Frankfurt Airport: From the regional railway station (underground station under Terminal 1), take the S-Bahn lines S8 and S9 from platform 1 or 2 in the direction of Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof or Hanau/Offenbach (trains run every 15 minutes, journey time approx. 12 minutes).
Buy tickets at the blue and turquoise ticket machines and enter the fare zone/destination number 5000. This is the quickest and cheapest way. Alternatively, there are connections with Deutsche Bahn (DB) from the airport long-distance railway station (in the AIRail Terminal in the immediate vicinity of Terminal 1) to Frankfurt/Main Central Station.
The journey time by cab is approx. 30 to 40 minutes.
