Medical Literature Monitoring
The MLM project launched by the EMA in 2015 – that is, the screening of the scientific literature for selected active substances – entails numerous obligations for MAHs, for example the regular screening of the EMA database as well as the consideration of the MLM research in the PSUR and signal detection process.
Against this background, as a supplement to the literature research and evaluation of the pooling project, we have developed a specific MLM service package. For over 130 active substances, this includes, among others:
- Regular screening and filtering of the EMA results based on specific search strategies and client specifications
- Automatic duplicate check against the results of the literature research / evaluation of the pooling project
- Download of the relevant XMLs and provision by email
- Advice on adapting the company's own SOPs
